MEET GIMENA

GIMENA RIESGO

Spanish

My name is Gimena, and I’m a native Spanish speaker born and raised in the vibrant city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. I hold a degree in Language and Literature and have had the pleasure of teaching these subjects at the secondary school level in my home country — an experience that deeply shaped my love for language, education, and the power of communication.

Today, I dedicate my work to teaching Spanish to learners of all ages and backgrounds. I work with children, adults, and students preparing for their GCSE exams, always tailoring my lessons to meet individual goals, learning styles, and interests. Whether you’re starting from scratch, brushing up your skills, or preparing for an important test, I’ll be your guide every step of the way.

For me, language is more than just grammar and vocabulary — it’s a gateway to understanding cultures, connecting with people, and seeing the world through new eyes.

Outside of tutoring, I’m someone who finds joy in life’s small, beautiful moments. I love photography, cooking, literature, and psychology. I enjoy taking peaceful walks, listening to music, and being surrounded by nature — often with a camera in hand to capture fleeting moments that speak to the soul.
